time show on visual not same type as data

Dear friends

 

i have time data but when i fill it as x axis on visual it show as date , what can i show it as time?

Hi, @Anonymous 

 

You can change the type of X axis to see if it helps.

In the visualization pane > select format > click the X axis > change the type from continuous to categorical.

If it does not workI am wonder if you have changed the date type in the data view: From data/time to time.

It may cause the same problem as yoursyou can solve it by creating a new column to change the date type.

 

New Column = TIME(HOUR([Date/Time]),MINUTE([Date/Time]),SECOND([Date/Time]))

Change the date type from Date/time to time.

Then you can meet your needs with new column in report view like this

@amitchandak i can put on x axis now, but its not show anything on visual

i was tried it but its doesnt work, its not allowed me to place time column in x axis field
