the data in the Table view is not sync in Report view
Hello,
I recently met a issue/bug in power bi desktop.
So I updated the sql code of the data source of this power bi model:
Old result: customer_id = 0022, customer_name = "A"
New result: customer_id = 1122, customer_name = "A"
When I navigate data in the Table view, customer_id = 1122, customer_name = "A", the values are correct, corresponds to the new result;
but when I go to the Report view and drag customer_id and customer_name to a visual, the customer_id is atill 0022 for "A"
I refreshed several times and it doesn't work at all.
Did anybody face the same issue/bug?
Hi yinyinlin
If you're seeing a value in the visual that does not appear in the Table view, the most likely explanation is that the visual is pulling data from a different table or through a relationship that introduces older or unrelated data.
If there were an issue with the connection to the data source or the refresh process, it would also affect the Table view — but since the Table view shows the updated value (customer_id = 1122), that indicates the data source was refreshed correctly.
I recommend reviewing your entire model to check:
-
Which table the visual is pulling from
-
Whether there are inactive relationships or duplicated tables
-
Any DAX logic or filters applied in the visual that might be referencing older data
To help further, it would be great if you could share a simplified version of your PBIX file using a public cloud service like OneDrive, Google Drive, or WeTransfer, and post the link here.

1. Try clearing the cache which you can find under Settings->Global-> Data Load, then refresh your model and check.
2. if it doesn't help try duplicating the table inside the power query, load the cloned table and check.
