text search/return date in new column

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to use a search function or lookup in power BI to search each row for a specific word and then return the date that follows that word?

In my situation, I want power BI to search the word "EAD" in the NOTES column and then return the date that follows it in a new column. However, it needs to only return the result for the most recent EAD date (always the one towards the beginning on the text). Ex. for the first row, the new column would say 7 June .

Any help is appreciated.

NOTES

source name: EAD 7 June sncsjcnd, jsncjncc; EAD: 17 May 2018; jwncwjeicniec, cwojncjwnc; EAD 2 Feb
source EAD: 12 July 2018 jceijcneijncwncwoncwonc; EAD: 26 Mar

    Hi comrade,

Yes, it is possible to achieve search function to loop each row, but your sample date is too irregular so I can't write a formula to get specific text.
