sync two filters in Power Pivot Excel
Hi All,
Is it possible to sync two filters in power pivot excel sheet? I know this can be done in power bi desktop but i want to do the same operation in power pivot excel. Please suggest how to acheive this?
It's possible- and really easy!
Assuming you have a pivot table\ chart on sheet 1 and another on sheet 2 and you want to slice by [Year]
- On sheet 1, under the PivotTable menu, select "insert slicer" and pick the slicer on [Year]
- Slice to the year you wish
- On sheet 2, under the PivotTable menu, select "insert slicer" and pick the slicer on [Year]
- On sheet 2, under the PivotTable menu, select "filter connections"
- Tick the slicer in sheet 1
Your slicers are now synced.Sync the slicer on the other sheetAdding a slicer and syncing
