Hi, with Powerbi is it possible to build a dax summarizecolumns function that creates a new table on the fly when the user clicks on a speciifc record?
Or is it better to create separate summarizecolumns tables and leave them active for each table created?
Which is the better way to go regarding resources and diskspace for the report?

@StevenT Calculated tables are not calculated "on the fly", only at the time of data refresh. You could build a measure that has a table variable created "on the fly" using SUMMARIZE or SUMMARIZECOLUMNS but measures have to return scalars, they cannot return tables. Hopefully UDF's fix that severe limitation but we will have to wait and see.
ItSorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2. would help greatly to understand more about what you are trying to accomplish.
Thanks very much!
