Hi,
I have joined two tables as shown in the image, everything looks fine but when I close power query and go back to power bi, it gets stuck updating the data. And if i go back to power query, and hit refresh it would get stuck too.
Many thanks
Hi @carlosmeep ,
I’m not certain what did ‘get stuck’ mean? Did it mean like these scenarios when closing query editors and refreshing in desktop?
If the case is like this scenario, whether the ’get stuck’ means wait for long minutes or like a white screen directly? For Waiting for long minutes you can reduce the dataset size or disable ‘Include in report refresh’ in query editors. For just like a white screen directly, maybe you can try to restart the desktop or check the memory status in your environment.
If not, could you please share more details for further discussion about this case ?
Best Regards,
Yingjie Li

Hi @carlosmeep ,
Have you tried it with less data ? Are you monitoring your memory when using power bi ?
