Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
It seems your account is showing not approved this usually means the email domain isn’t authorized to use Power BI or Microsoft Fabric services.
In this case, please reach out to your organization or school IT administrator and ask them to enable Power BI / Microsoft Fabric access for your domain.Only the admin can approve or allow this type of account for sign-in.
If possible, you can also try signing in using a different work or school account that’s already licensed for Power BI to confirm if the issue is domain-specific.

Network or firewall blocking Microsoft sign-up endpoints
The page https://signup.microsoft.com must be accessible for Power BI to complete sign-up.
If your corporate network or VPN blocks this domain, the browser can’t open the page.
Unsupported email domain
Power BI sign-up does not support personal email accounts (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com).
It requires a work or school account (Microsoft Entra / Azure AD).
Incomplete tenant setup
Even if you registered, the Power BI service might not be fully provisioned yet for your domain.
Until provisioning completes, Power BI Desktop can’t authenticate.
Browser integration issue
Power BI Desktop uses your default browser (Edge or Chrome) for OAuth sign-in.
If cookies or pop-ups are blocked, the sign-up window might fail to redirect properly.
Try manually opening:
👉 https://signup.microsoft.com
👉 https://app.powerbi.com
If you signed up with a personal account, you’ll get stuck in this loop.
Go to https://app.powerbi.com in your browser.
Sign in with your work email (e.g., user@yourcompany.com).
If prompted, create a Power BI tenant (takes 1–2 minutes).
Once that’s done, open Power BI Desktop → Sign in again.
