Hello,
There is a month column which i am using in a slicer.
it shows the month in alphabetical order however i want it in month number order.
I also have a month number column which I am not using at present.
In desktop on report, how can the slicer be sorted in month number rather than the month name as it is now?
note that the sort by column option does not seem to be enabled on report
Thank you

You have to do it in your data model - why would you ever want your months to show in anything else than the correct order?
Hi @Anonymous
You can sort your Month Names by month numbers, providing you do have a month number column.
Please see the below.

Mariusz

Hi, thanks for the email
Please read my post clearly and you will see that I would like to do this on report rather than the dataset.
Thank you
