(snowflake) Expression.Error: Native queries aren't supported by this value. Details: [Table]

I used temp tables in Snowflake  query and it runs perfectly fine in Snowflake, but when putting the same query in PowerBI to import the data, it returns the error above. Think powerBI does not support snowflake temp tables?

Below is my code, just in case:

drop table if exists "db"."PUBLIC"."BaseCaseData";

create temporary table "db"."PUBLIC"."BaseCaseData" as
SELECT distinct ... ;

    Hi EricCSPC,

    As I said, you can execute the query in the data connector but it not allow you do to edit operations in this session. You can get data to power bi side if the temp table already existed in your database.
    If you mean to use query to create a new table and get data, that is impossible.

    HI EricCSPC,

    Did you mean to use these queries in your data connector? AFAIK, power bi does not include write permissions to affect the database records. I think you need to create this table on your data source side.

      It's temp table tho. I worked in MSSQL server and powerBI previously and it allowed temp tables in the data import queries. Wondering if this is some kinks of Snowflake that doesn't support temp table queries so well? and If anyone has successfully import data into PowerBI with temp table in the queries.
