slicer not manually
hello dear,
I have to manually drag this slicer to the right every day after the new data comes. how can you automate this? thank you.

you can use a custom visual slicer called Timeline, it has a setting that whould enable current period and force selection.
it will automatically take the latest value in your slicer everyday.
as for the slicer you're using, it won't work like this.

true, you can go to the month level, and the user could drill down for the day level.
