Hello,
I have recently watched a webinar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chV4xyOUgCs from the guys at powerpivot(pro) where the demo uses what appears to be a slicer type filter for pre-defined date periods. I created a current day measure and tried to make it into a slicer with one option but no joy - anyone care to share how this effect is achieved?
Cheers,
Mark
In that video, it has a selector table for selection which is used in a SWITCH() function to apply different calculation. For each kind of scenario, it creates QTD, YTD and Current calculations. For more details about its structure, you can download the .pbix from: https://www.powerpivotpro.com/2016/08/watch-the-power-bi-webinar-recording-aug-16/

Hi @67nmark
Can you share some data, the data model and the result you expect to get a solution.
Cheers
