slicer custom order

HI,

I have a slicer and want to order it in a custom way (not necessarily alphabetical). As a result i have followed multiple methods to try and achieve this.

One of them is described here:

Solved: Sort Slicer Values - Microsoft Power BI Community

Where i have made another column called 'rank', given it a number (1,2,3,4 based on the order i want), and then i get to the last step where it says i select 'sort column.' This last step does not work for one of the two slicers i tried this on.

How else can i go about this??

this is the step that does not work for me...

Hi @kkjoy81 ,
Go to Data Model ->Click on category ->Click on Sort By Column -> Select Rank

The change would automatically reflect in your slicer values.
PFA .pbix for reference.
