Helper IIIsharing a PowerBI Dataset for multiple Reports
Hello,
I would like to share a PowerBI Dataset (Semantic Model) for multiple Reports.
Is it correct that I cannot use Power Query when I reference PowerBI DataSet from another Report?
What I would like to do is create a single Power BI Dataset and then use the Dataset in multiple Reports. I would like to use Power Query to remove what is not needed. As an example if I am building a Report for Marketing I would like to remove all the Financial Data. When I am building a report for Finance I would like to remove the Marketing Data.
Is this a good use case?

mikebi ,You can try OLS, but that will give an error if there is a visual using a table.

In Microsoft Fabric we can create a custom Dataset and there we can control the tables
