Hey folks!
I was hoping I could get some guidance here. I'm new to power bi and just made a report on some nba stats for a project. I'd like to be able to share it with others that don't have power bi but when I click on share >embed report > publish to web, it tells me I need to contact my admin. I didn't think I had an admin since I'm the only one that uses this.
I've been googling for a while now and stumbled into azure active directory which validates that. I tried creating a new resource within azure active directory to try to give myself admin priveleges but seem to get stuck when trying to create an account for myself. Anyone here happen to know how to go about this? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

@iwingsk you need to configure in the power bi service.
Pease check out, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web#create-embed-code...
Hi @iwingsk
With regard to sharing and publishing to web, etc., you need a Power BI License: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web
Do you have a license for Power BI or are you using the trial version at the moment?
Also, be conscious that publishing to web makes everything available to everyone (public to the enth degree).
Thanks heaps,
Theo

Hi,
@TheoC shared the link, you could find that it needs to have access to share it on the Web.
For this purpose, your admin should get you access in Admin Portal :
You could use this link as well :
