Hello,
I am trying to insert a map (Lusaka) from a shapefile in power bi. Please note I have Qgis only/ no ArcGIS so cannot use the ArcGIS map feature. I used mapshaper to transform shapefile to topoJason but when I loaded it to power bi I got a map of the US. I followed the instruction from this article "Overcoming Potential Power BI Shape Map Rendering Issues" but the problem persists.
Any tips or links to useful manuals would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Piotr

Hi @v-shex-msft ,
In the end it was a projection issue and I was inserting the JSON file in a wrong way. @Greg_Deckler has been super helpful in resolving my drama.
All the best,
Piotr
@Anonymous Can you share your topoJSON file?
I would love to but there seem to no option to attach files in this forum. I can send it to your e-mail. This is how the final result look like
and this is mapshaper view
Thanks a lot in advance. Much appreciated. Piotr
@Anonymous Most people just share it out via OneDrive or Box or something. I'll send you a private message in the forums with my email.
