Murad Yep, you can do this. You need to build that range of values. The most straightforward way is to build a calculated column. Here is just a quick example I threw together from a sample data set. Let me know if you have additional questions.
Murad Does enabling the Legend under the formatting options not provide you what you want? (Format is the Paintbrush icon) This allows you to see the legend in various locations. Otherwise, you could look into the ArcGIS map, there is a lot you can do with that one.
Hello Anonymous,
Thanks for your response. I was losing hope that i'll never have an answer on this one.
However, I can't seem to have the legend done at all. below is a screen shot of the map I am working on based on dummy data i've feed into an excel sheet containing all Syria admin levels - original sheet and shapefiles were done by the UN. I''ve used this shape file to practice working with .JSON ones that i have to feed in, and im mostly intrested with countries which have a large number of sub-districts.
I would like to have my map look something similar to this (below) where legends are based on the population intensity- where it preferable not to have other countries appear in the map.
Could you please let me know if this is possible?
Regards,
Murad.

Anonymous Also, i've noticed that the ArcGIS sub-districts are not accurate and some sub-districts are either not in the right place or dont exist. so perhaps the shape map is the way to go only if i can get the legend to work :smileysad:
