I have developed a reprot a while back, and for some of the KPIs I grab them directly from a semantic model from another reprt.
It was working fine, but today there is an error
Nothing has been changed in the semantic model. It is still the same. But I can't see the KPIs anymore. Moreoever, I can't delete the the connection and recreate it. Everytime, I see the same error
can someone help?

I think I got it now
LocalDateTables sound like date tables added via Auto Date/Time
Somebody must have disabled auto date time in the semantic model you are reading from, and now your composite model cannot refer to them anymore
This might also explain the difficulty to disconnect and reconnect
Can you check with the model owner if this is what changed?
If this helped, please consider giving kudos and mark as a solution

Hi @elimey ,
KPI's which have been connected directly from semantic model can recheck if those Tables/columns still available in the semantic model
Could the dates table have been renamed? Also what do you mean by you can't delete the connection and recreate it?
Power BI Does not find a table, you say nothing changed and of course we believe you but
to help you, we need the pbix connected to the data source, because something must have happened
You can use a cloud service and paste the link here
