select current year

Hello,
Slicer shows several years i.e, 2017, 2018, 2019
I would like the check to be ticked next to the year which is current year.
But user can however selected all years and run report.
I want the first time the year slicer to be defaulted to current year so the report when first is run it runs for current year i.e. 2019 and have th echeckbox selected.

Thank you

As far as I know it can't be done, but you can use RELATIVE date filters.
