Hello

Is it possible to make a text search engine that searches as you type ?

i.e. if I type CZC
that the words that begin with CZC appear and not the rest, but in real time as I type and the C is erased, it shows me the words that contain CZ at the beginning.

And I would like to share some additional solutions below.
Hello,@dadomel .I am glad to help you.
1. Searching with a slicer is a very common way to find.
This function can be used when the field type of the slicer is Text.

You cannot use the search function when the field type is a numeric type

2. You can use custom visual objects to implement your text field search function.
Text filter visual

Note that it can search for text type data (fuzzy query support), but not numeric type field data.
When I use [Total] as a numeric search field, it doesn't work.

You can get more customised visuals with search functionality in Power BI visuals.

You have to give focus to the visual. No way around that.

You should be able to do that using the search feature of the old slicer. You'll need to select from the filtered results though.
