search option missing on 3 dots

Team, I noticed that the search option missing on 3 dots (slicer). How to get the search option?

    Hi semy20 ,

     

    That is normally the case if a column is of type number. Have you checked if you have the correct data type?

semy20 Hello,
You can try below steps.

 

step 1 : go to data view in power bi desktop 

step 2: check the current data type 

step 3 : if data type  = Number then change the data type to text and then you will able to add search option in slicer. Kindly refer below image.
