a couple years ago when SF changed the portal to a community, the URL changed from *companyname*.my.salesforce.com to *companyname*.force.com and the Power BI connection broke. Have have a workaround in place but now that SF has once again changed the URL to a *Companyname*.site.com, just wondering if Power BI supports this connection?
I've had my community users try it and they get an invalid arguments error. Anyone else able to get their community/experience users connected to Power BI?
Hi @gilmore_staci ,
I can understand this could be an issue until URL varianances for salesforce is allowed. If you have any other question,
feel free to reach out.
Thank You

no my issue is not resolved, all the suggestions are done, the URL is the problem. Microsoft, several years ago, was only allowing the *company*.my.SALESFORCE.com URL. Our org community link is *company.my.SITE.com. Until Microsoft allows other URL variances for salesforce, this is going to be an issue
Hi @gilmore_staci ,
Can you please check if the Salesforce API access is enabled and that OAuth authentication is properly configured in Power BI Desktop. Microsoft recommends enabling Edge (Chromium) for OAuth flows.

Hope this helps!
What is "community"? SMB and below? We still have the *companyname*.my.salesforce.com URL.
Is that for your internal users? The community is for external users
