Hi @Anonymous ,

 

You definitely need Python installed on the machine where Power BI Desktop is installed- to use Python visual.

You can see the steps here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-python-scripts

 

Using a Python visual in Power Bi requires you to write a Python code. To execute this code you need Python on your machine.
