With a new update to my report I find the following issue: When I open my report, which is saved to a matrix visual, the full row padding is not displayed hence cutting off the bottom of the column headers. When you choose another page of the report and return the aforementioned visual, the full row padding is displayed. This has not been an issue previously but now it is present in all versions of this report. Any solutions to making the visuals display the full row padding when opening the file?
Hi, @Anonymous
Did it work normally before?
If the problem occurs after the update of the latest PowerBI Desktop , you can try to roll back to the November version.
Previous monthly updates to Power BI Desktop

@Anonymous , I have not seen any such issue on Dec -2020. : https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
Selective screenshot sharing can help
I amtrying to see if it is an issue that can be fixed if not i will put it up as an issue 🙂
this is in powerbi desktop or if you upload the report in your workspace you have the same problem?
Desktop i cannot test it in services. When i say version it is different files for the same report. I went back to see if it was a program issue or if a change induced the mistake
Publish to your workspace (you dont need pro user) and test if in the service you have the problem becasue maybe it is something only in local
could you upload a picture to see the problem?
Unfortunately I cannot due to the data's nature. As I described, when i open my report, power bi cuts off the bottom of the row padding in particular the column headers of my matrix, when i click away from this view and back to the same matrixl the row padding is no longer cut off.
@Anonymous is this in desktop or web service or both? When you say 'all versions' of the report, does that refer to desktop/web, or previous changes you have made?
You said this only started happening after a new update? What did you change?
