retrieve number of days from date different

Hi,

I need Help,

I want to retrieve  number of  days from  difference dates ,  and  use filtet to spatre count by  year and year Quarter,

like below senarion 

from	to	# of days
11/26/2017 12:07	1/1/2018 12:07	36

the  # of  days 36 coming from year  2017 and  2018, I need Filter to sprate each count by year and year quarter
