report selection on period

Hi, 

I have a table with 12 columns for every month (contains euro values, for example turnovers per custormer).

I want to select a period in my report (also for users), so that my visualisations will change with my selection.

How can I realize this in my report?

    Hi rossenblok,

    If you have a column for each month you should unpivot the columns and you would get only 2 columns one with values and a other with month the. Use the month column to create a slicer for the selection.

      do you mean unpivot in the dataset?

      or is there a possibility to unpivot the table in powerbi itself?
