relationship between two tables (Parameter)
Hello,
I created a Parameter (Generateseries(0;20;1) to creat a slicer where I can chose between Top 1-20 of Expenses.
Below you can see the code for the measure:
The Slicer and the Table works, but they dont interact with the other visuals. I think it is because there is no relationship between the Parameter table and the original Table from Excel.
How can I add a coloumn to the Parameter table called "Asset Name" or "Expenses" that has the same Values / Text data like the orginal Table from Excel?
I tried to add Ranking cloumn to the Excel Database and make with these a relationship. But now when i chose the Top 5 it dont show me the Top 5, but only the 5th place from the ranking?
Any Ideas how I can solve this?

Anonymous , unless you use what id parameter or generate series in the formula it will not work or my give cartesian.
Can you share sample data and sample output.
