refreshing data from a sql view and having added transformations in power query slowing down my refr

I am connecting to a oracle database, I get my SQL view into Power BI, I then need to get another sql view i do transformations on that need to do a left join on the 1st query, query folding has not broken for either query, i untick the enable load for the second query. I do some more transformations on the first query, query folding is still enabled but my data is taking too long to load.

Question: Are sql views usually this slow should I be using some other datasource heard data warehouses can be decent,

@akhaliq7 , SQL View or Query performance will depend to database and how optimized the query is. It is always better to have table
