reading last date into a table
i need read the last date from the table "opportunities\Opp. Ext. Close Date" (see the pictures below)
I did it in other PBI file where the date was in this format "dd\mm\yy" using "Lastdate" command but in this case it doesn't work

If all your date are in DD/MM/YYYY format and you want that as the format, check the setting - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/How-to-apply-UK-date-format-dd-mm-yyyy-in-Date-slicer/td-p/599712
Otherwise try that it detected as date with correct format. After that Max/Last date will work
it is not depending from date format. It depends from kind of data inside the table.

You can try to put the target Date into the Card visual in the fields, and adjust it to 'Latest Date'
