I just updated to the latest version of PBI Desktop, and now I can't sign in to publish reports directly from the tool. When I try to sign in, enter my email address, and redirected to my company's federation server and log in there, I then get the popup box that says "Sign up for a Power BI account," with the message saying "You don't seem to have an account for Power BI. Please use this link to sign up." But even if I try that, it fails (which isn't surprising since I already have an account).

Nope - just updated to the Sep 8 2017 version and now I can't publish. Get the message 'you don't seem to have a Power BI account.' - although I can login through the portal, just can;''t publish to it.
Hi @tsf,
1. I would suggest you double check if that specific email address can sign in Power BI. You can enter the URL ( https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/ ) in browser inprivate mode, then click the Sign in button on the top right side and type the email address to see if you can login Power BI successfully.
2. If you really can sign in Power BI, please run Fiddler with HTTPS encrypt enabled, repeat the steps to sign in Power BI in desktop. Share .saz file here.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
