"We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again." in Intune Data Warehouse

Hi, I've created a report a few days ago, TWO data source is included, Active Directory & Intune. It works fine after I published it.

Then I realized that the data in Active Directory was fetched in the local, so I created an On-premises Data Gateway in a win-server so the data set can get the data in AD independently. It also worked.

However, the data source of Intune went wrong, I am not sure whether they were relevant.

I tried to clear the permission in PBI desktop app and log in again, but it doesn't work. Warning message is, "We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again." every time, even though the password is correct.

What interesting is, when I was trying to add the data source of Intune Data Warehouse again, just to see if it works, this happened: It worked for a while, PBI starts to load data, and able to show the table names, but after for like 20 seconds the warning message shows again

I've searched for similar problems in the community but found nothing, could you help me on that? Thank you in advance!

Sorry, I don't have a similar environment to do more tests。

Please check the following necessary options:

    • Azure AD global administrator
    • An Intune service administrator
    • User with role-based access to Intune data warehouse resource
    • User-less authentication using application-only authentication
