When displaying the matrix of custom visual "Infographic Designer",
I set it to "Descending order by Measure(value)", but the order does not work as expected.
I would like to know the sorting rules.
Please check the attached image for the data.
What I'm expecting is descending totals for each category.
c → a → b → d → e → f → g → h
Category03 → Category01 → Category02 → Category04 → Category05
However, the actual result is as follows.
a → b → c → d → e → f → g → h
Category03 → Category01 → Category04 → Category05 → Category02
*Because the matrix is 6 rows and 6 columns or more
I'm using Infographic Designer instead of a standard bar chart.
Thank you.
Hi @tyanvisxzwo ,
--When displaying the matrix of custom visual "Infographic Designer", I set it to "Descending order by Measure(value)", but the order does not work as expected. I would like to know the sorting rules.
--The sorting behavior I've observed is consistent with yours.
This is how I placed the fields:
Using "Display as Table", we can test and observe the table of data points when sorting.
and what i get:
Here is category 2,b‘s value is in the second position. In the table above, it should be first under Category2.
This is a custom visual, and I recommend that you send an email to the support email address reserved on this page to confirm that this is the by design behavior.
Infographic Designer
I tried creating a bar chart by small multiples but it only sorts by one axis, hope that helps!
Best Regards,
Gao
