Hi hbuzzi,
I don't have any MySQL connection however in SQL/ODBC view when you are at the first screen where you select the database you have ADVANCE OPTIONS (last option with a down arrow on the right side) if you open that you can then write your SQL Statment, and after if you need to change it also available in the query editor.
