prevent custom visuals being used

is ther anyway to manage custom visualisations like having pre approved ones in an organisation rather than lettting everyone download wth they want?

I'm afraid currently there's no such feature. However, you can configure access right in your app workspace. you can also configure RLS which is based on rows. If you embed your report in a third-party app, you can configure your code to change some permission but these permissions are all based on data, not based on any visual or customer visual.

What does "having pre approved ones" mean? Can you clarify more details?

@v-yuta-msft that you as an organisation can approve some for use, but not all, is there a mechanism to do that?
