Hi foodd ,
I want to practice and implement tough challenges which people face while designing data model in power bi example many to many relationships, role playing dimensions, circular references etc
So, based on your description, you want to enhance your skills in applying the fundamental principles of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
As a mentor, I would seek the following information to better understand the learner and provide assistance for success. Please consider the following preparation-related questions. Some may require a financial investment, while others may not. Do you have access to the following:
- Subscription to Power BI Professional, Microsoft 365, and related services? You can always set up trials with each service if this is a short-term need.
- Do you have a test bed and or a home test lab setup? You can use Hyper-V if you are running Windows Professional or above, VMWare Workstation Professional now that it is free for non-commercial users, or other similar virtualization tools.
- Have you considered subscribing to services like EnterpriseDNA and other learning platforms? Each platform offers personalized learning plans and a wealth of resources, providing significant value to the learner. Not to slight Training | Microsoft Learn, but if you have not already created a profile, I strongly recommend doing that now—and it is free!
- What books and other online references do you have, and have you read?
- Which of the Microsoft Certification Exams have you prepared for or completed?
- Are you part of a Power Platform / BI User Group? If not, I encourage you to join one. Having access to a study partner can be beneficial in your learning journey.
