Thanks for the reply from Ritaf1983 , please allow me to provide another insight:
    Hi achyuth152009 ,

If possible, could you please check if you can open PBI Desktop and log in to this SharePoint list data source using the same account, and see if the data loads correctly and refreshes successfully in Desktop? If it works, it indicates that the view permissions for the SharePoint list data source are valid and can access the data source properly (since refreshing and retrieving data only requires read-only permissions). If it works, you will also need to go to the data source credentials settings of the Power BI dataset and log in to this SharePoint list data source with the same account, as the permissions from Desktop do not directly carry over to the service and require a separate login.

In most cases, View access is sufficient to refresh data from a SharePoint List in Power BI, and you don't need Edit permissions. If you're seeing an "Invalid Credentials" error, here are a few things to check:

    Verify Gateway Configuration (if applicable):
If you're using an On-Premises Data Gateway, make sure the gateway is correctly configured and matches the connection settings for the SharePoint List.

Check Data Source Credentials in Power BI Service:
Ensure that the credentials entered in the Power BI Service under "Data Source Credentials" are correct and have access to the SharePoint List. If there was a recent password or account change, you'll need to update the credentials.

Use Organizational Account for SharePoint Access:
Verify that you're using an Organizational Account to connect to SharePoint. Other authentication methods like Anonymous or Basic Authentication will not work properly with SharePoint Online.

    Confirm Permissions in SharePoint:
While View access is usually sufficient, check if there are any organizational policies or restrictions that might prevent data refresh with View-only permissions.

For more information about refresh issues please refer :

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-scheduled-refresh

If you've verified all the above and the issue persists, try re-establishing the connection between Power BI and SharePoint or consult with your IT support team for additional assistance.
