power bi query cache on disk
Hi all,
I read for a fact that the query cache is written to disk. We are a few users on a VM and that cache seems to grow to the C disk and we get regular warning about this.
Our IT team seems to have difficulty to increase the disk space on C but is willing to open an E drive.
My question: Can we re-direct the query cache to another drive ??
Thanks
F

Hi francoisl ,
Currently, there is no option to change the cache directory.
You might consider cleaning up your local disk c to restore capacity. Or use some tools to expand the partition. (Please backup your important data)
You can also clear your cache frequently.
Change the path to the folder where the files are automatically saved to another disk.
Best Regards,
Gao
