power bi pro map, stability and capabilities

Hi, I have used Excel 2016 and mapped millions of locations using the data model, however, it usually starts stalling when I apply filters or change map styles. Can Power BI PRO manage mapping millions of locations? Would it behave well?

    Hi vsinha,

    There is currently no limit on the rows of data you can import into Power BI desktop, Speed Depends on your datasource and architecture and computer monery. When you get the data, you can use the different map visualizations in Power BI as the screenshot displayed.

     

    You can create a slicer, or use visual level filter to filter the map.
