Hi d_shaw1 -The issue you're describing with the date fields showing a hierarchy (including quarters, months, etc.) is common in Power BI. This is because Power BI automatically creates a date hierarchy for date fields. To address this:
Convert Date Fields to Single Date Values:
Go to the field list on the right-hand side>>Find the Date and Date Returned fields >>Click the dropdown arrow next to the date field.
Select the field name itself (e.g., Date) instead of the hierarchy. This will use the date as a single value rather than a hierarchy.
