Dear
my company will start a project in which there will be about 50 users and the idea is to share the reports, I know that the only way is for everyone to have a Pro License so that they can access those reports. My queries are:
If I purchase a Premium license, would I no longer need Pro licenses for users viewing such reports?
Based on your ex-precience in Premiun what characteristics should you have to meet the 50-user requirement?

Hello @Kimo2122 ,
First, Power BI Pro is a per-user license, and Premium is an organizational subscription that provides a different way to store content in dedicated capacity. The specific differences are as follows:
What is the difference between Power BI Pro and Power BI Premium?
- With Power BI Pro, users are individually licensed and fully involved in using Power BI, both in content creation and consumption. All Pro users can connect to hundreds of on-premises and cloud data sources, create interactive reports and 360-degree dashboards, share that content with other Pro users, and consume content shared by other users.
- With Power BI Premium, you're licensing capacity for content instead of licensing all users of that content. Content (datasets, dashboards, and reports) is stored in Premium and can then be viewed by as many users as you want, at no additional cost per user. These users can only view content, not create it. The visualization includes browsing dashboards and reports on the web, in our mobile apps, or embedded in your organization's portals or apps. Premium content creators still need their own Pro licenses.
So while you have Power BI Premium, you also need Power BI Pro to publish reports, share dashboards, collaborate with colleagues in workspaces, and participate in other related activities.
For the purchase, there are some reference examples:
What if all users don't require all the capabilities of Power BI Pro, for example, many are only viewing reports occasionally?
If your deployment includes a combination of users participating in self-service BI and a large number of users who are only viewing reports occasionally, one of the following examples may represent the right choice for you:
1) If an organization consists of 200 total users: 50 participate in self-service BI, while the remaining 150 are limited to viewing BI content: Power BI Pro is the most economical deployment option for all users in your organization.
2) However, if your organization consists of 700 total users: 100 participate in self-service BI, while the remaining 600 occasionally view BI content, the most economical deployment option would be to license Power BI Pro for all 100 users who participate in self-service BI and license Power BI Premium for the 600 looking for occasional access to view BI content.
3) If your organization is in place of 5,000 total users: 4,000 are dedicated to self-service BI, While the remaining 1,000 users occasionally view BI content, the best deployment option would be for the organization to license Power BI Pro for the remaining 4,000 users who participate in self-service BI and license Power BI Premium for the 1,000 who seek occasional access to view BI content.
A calculator is available to help you determine the combination of Power BI Pro and Power BI Premium licenses that are right for your organization.
Because your computer has only 50 people, it is recommended to purchase 50 professional licenses, which is more profitable.
Best regards

@Kimo2122 , Yes you need pro license. Premium is capacity. Pro is used for sharing the reports, workspaces etc.
refer this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-premium-faq
Thank you
But what happens is that I see that it is better to have Premium for more than 50 users, I am clear that the Pro serves to share, but I want to know if with the Premium I would avoid buying Pro and I make a payment for the Premium to share reports and other files, which is not that you want to use
