power BI does not recognize ACCESS data column with attachment

Hello

I have an ACCESS file where I feed a new product table and I have a field in that table type attachment where I attach the photo of the product in question.

When I connect Power BI to the ACCESS table, it recognizes all the fields in the table except the attached file field.

1- Is there a way for PowerBI to recognize me the ACCESS attachment field?

2- if not, how can I feed ACCESS with images so that PowerBI recognizes them?

Thanks a lot

  • What do you mean when you say "recognize"?  Does the field not appear at all?  It should be tagged as "binary"

What are you planning to do with the images?

      Hello

sure enough, the field does not appear at all.

My goal with this is to be able to feed said ACCESS with new products and their corresponding photo and description, so to be able to create a report in POWER BI with an alert of when a new product is nested, the user receives said alert and can consult in the BI the details of this new product with his photo.

Read about how to embed images in Power BI files. Access is not one of the possible sources for that unless you do the Base64 preparation in a new column in Access.
