performance against forecast
hi all,
I'm using the built in forecasting tool and wondering if anyone knows a way to keep the forecast values while also displaying the actuals? As it is currently my February forecast will dissapear once February actuals are loaded but what I'd like to be able to do is display the variance from forecast, ideally without having to export the data from the pbi report and reload it. In table form, something like this:

As lbendlin mentioned, the built-in forecasting tool will not meet your requirements.
As a workaround, you can use the Remaining Forecast method described in the article below:

Consider using a graphical approach
Your report users can easily see the variance. No need to point it out specifically.
Apologies lbendlin , maybe I wasn't clear enough. The table above is just a representation of the values, the actual visualisation is a line chart with a "Sales" measure. Using the inbuilt forecasting my "Sales" line extends out into the future but each time an actual value is loaded the forecast value for that month dissapears.

You cannot modify the built-in forecasting but you can replace it with your own code.
