pending changes hangs for ever
i have pending changes in pbix, i inherit this file from ex employee.
it hangs for ever if i click discard changes.
so i click on discard changes problem is there are many tables and each table has many steps. how i know which changes not been applied? power bi doesnt show you which chnages already applied. so im struggling find out what changes to investigate...
how do i find what part causing problem ?

You could open Power Query and copy the M code from advanced editor and compare them before and after. Do you have more than one report open? Is save working properly? I have had similar problem recently, but seems to work when I save the file and retry 'apply changes'.
