pbix sample files for REPORTS
I am looking for some completed desktop reports that I can download and reverse-engineer? Is there a way and a source? thx
I would suggest the free EDX course. They have files as well as instructions.

What do you mean reverse-engineer?
Regading the pbix samples, you can follow MiguelMartinez, he's relasing sample pbix every now and then.
