hi
i tried to open my .pbix file the it doesn't open! loading and nothing happans....:(
is someone encouter this problem?
thanks!
All the times that something like this happened with me, the problem was that the file was saved in a newest Power BI version than you have at your computer (the Power BI's updates are very frequently..)
Hi MP123,
Can you supply some more details? Where are you trying to open it? Did you create it or was it shared/given to you?
THanks,
Michele
@Anonymous
hi, thanks!
the problem is on my data source so power bi doesn't open the report...
thanks!
Hi @MP_123,
Have you resolved the issue? If so, could you please share details about your scenario and post the solution? That way, other community members could benefit from your solution.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
I had similar kind of issue.
I had created sql stored procedures for fetching the data to Power BI report. Meanwhile someone restored the databases from Production and Stored procedures created to pull data were not available in database.
So when I tried opeining the report I was not getting any error and nothing was happening.
After deploying the stored procedures and reopening the report worked.

hi Lydia,
the problem was in my data source (it couldn't be reach)
so the power bi didn't open the file
i actually think that the scenario is to so open the file but to show error messages: problem with the data model
or something like that...
thanks!
@gdssiqueira@nonick542@Anonymous
thanks you all
my data source couldn't be reach, that's why the file wasn't open
thanks a lot
