paraTimeline - issue with custom date range
I have encountered an issue with paraTimeline (v3.4.8) custom date filter function . It seems it doesn't work properly. When you choose any custom date range, for example 2022-05-01 and 2022-05-05, it filters a dataset with range 2022-05-02 and 2022-05-05.
When you select same period with cell selection on the top right it filters very same dates in the custom date range, but with different result in dataset (in my opinion the correct result).
Contact form in PowerBI Marketplace and also at developers page (https://paradigmbi.com.au/Contact) doesn't seem work anymore, so I write here. Could anyone help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance.

omacx00 , The only difference I see between the two is the first one is slightly over date "1". Just check does it also consider timestamp and it need to be just before Date "1"

I don't know how it works, but it really seems from the cell visualization that the date range is somehow calculated from some specific time of the chosen start day to a specific time of the chosen end day.
I created dataset with hourly timestamps for the purpose of the investigation and it seems that Custom date range takes all dates from the chosen date but after 9 AM. And all datetimes until 9 AM of the chosen end date. Do you have any idea what could be causing this or how to work with it? I have tried to contact the developer of the visual, but it seems the email provided in pbiviz file of the visual does not exist.

Hi omacx00 ,
Based on testing, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. Please try the latest version of paraTimeline.(v3.5.0)
Best Regards,
Gao
