over acting query

I want to access to specific table on a shared folder file,

This is my query:

Excel.Workbook(File.Contents("\\ipaddress\folder\subfolder\filename.xlsx"), null, true) {[Name="SheetE"]}[Data]

Everything is OK until I add data validation List in "SheetE" from named range in "SheetJ"

The query become running to other sheets that i dont want to access...

Before i add a data validation List it only access to SheetE

Hope PBI Team can fix it, because it effect to query performance

Hi @simp,

As you referenced to SheetJ in SheetE, Power Query will creating connection to SheetJ during execution. In your scenario, is there existing any relationshipt between SheetJ and other sheets?

There is no relationship between sheets

Here is the screenshot, you can see that the query is also reading to other sheets
