odbc query timed out

I am getting this error message and unable to load my view Power BI, please advise...attaching the error message.

There is nothing attached, but Power BI really cannot do much about the ODBC timeout. That is controlled by the source. Consult your ODBC documentation. There is often a setting to increase the timeout, either at the source, or by tweaking the connection string Power BI uses (or any client for that matter) with a custom timeout setting.

Does PowerBI limit on how much data can come through? I have some old historical data from 2004 coming on here.

power bi limitation by storage limits will give you another Error. It is a timeout during data load process
