numeric range slicer - configurable

Hi, I am using power bi desktop and i want to show range values in the slicer.

And these range values need to  be configurable by the user.

Please let me know how can this be achieved.

Regards,

Ashwini

Hi, @ashwinibh

Could you please tell me what's this for? Because the field of a slicer is from a column of a table, we can't configure it. But there may be a workaround. We can group them in advance. Then we can create two slicers. One is for configuration, the other is for the values. You can have a look at the picture.

I have batchid column and I want a slicer to show ranges of these batchids.

But the ranges are not fixed user should be able to configure the range.

If there are batchids from 1 to 1000 in my table, user should be able to counfigure and set and range from 1-1000

for example he can select 1-500 or 501-1000,etc

Hi, @ashwinibh

I get it now. Users don't need to configure anything. In the latest version of PBI, the slicer has option "Between". The slicer will get all the range in the column. And you can choose the range by sliding the scale. Please have a try.numeric range slicer - configurable 2.jpg
