is there any limit on number of rows which visual can handle in power bi ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The section at the top has the definition for windowing: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-data-points#strategies
You can also test this yourself - grab or create a dummy data set with more than 200 rows and place it in the slicer. All values will eventually show, however, the slicer will only load those values in chunks of 200.

Hi @vicky_ ,
what is the meaning of Power BI Visual in the documentation you shared as shown below, are we referring to all visual available in Power BI excluding custom visuals?
The above should be referring to all visuals, both built-in and custom, although in the case of the latter, it must be configured by the custom visual developer(s)
Yes - but it depends on the type of visual. see this page for more details https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-data-points
