not getting correct count

Hello experts,

I am facing an issue that i am not able to realize why it's happening. I have  a table where a lot of companies listed and there are lot of duplicates there. I have another table with distinct company names sorted by article number. I am making pdf reprts for top 5 company, one on each page. I created index column in distinct company page and filtering each page with each index. For 1,2,3 and 5  index, they are working perfectly and i am getting tables with how many/which authors and how many /which articles for them. But for 4 index, i just cant pull up right info.This company was listed in a cell with a lot of other companies. I splitted the column using split column>advanced>row (as mentioned by an expert here). So now each company is in seperate row. But still, my table shows a lot less count for distinct article id for particular this company. I tried to rank based on distinct count of article id and rank was off too for this company. Actual index/rank should be 4, but in my Rank calculated column it's 21 as it is reading lot less article id. I filtered the table for this particula company and a simplified snapshot is here, 

Any idea why it's happening? Spent whole day today to figure it out, no progress.
